The Foundation was established in 2000. Its mission is to promote improvement in the quality of life of population of Russia in general and to assist disadvantaged groups of citizens (persons with disabilities, homeless and street children, and other people in need of social and medical help).
The Foundation “Quality of Life” conducts target social programs, scientific research, holds scientific-practical and public events, participates in work of different expert councils and commissions of the federal executive bodies and expert committees on international projects, it is engaged in publishing activity.
In the course of 10 years of operation the Foundation has accumulated huge experience and profound knowledge in charitable activity, involved qualified and really devoted to the cause of charity personnel. We elaborated and realized in total more than 50 programs in different directions. The Foundation’s work is recognized and supported by the state and public organizations. And we are aimed at further improvement of our activity and bringing it up to a more proficient level.
In Focus
There are about 30000 disabled children suffering from different physical and mental ailments in Moscow. These children and their families need complex rehabilitation support: medical, psychological, social, financial. For more than 3 years already RCCF “Quality of Life” has been implementing the program of rendering additional services to the families with disabled children of 0-6 years old. The program supports about 90 families from 10 Moscow districts but it makes only 0,3% of those who really need it. The funds we are attracting to the program are intended to help disabled children having the heaviest health problems, who mostly demand our all-round support, including costly medical examinations and treatment, quality means of medical rehabilitation (prosthesis, wheel-chairs, communication devices, rehabilitation furniture, other appliances and devices) and other |
